
Little did you know that Croatia has many many beautiful places to visit except from the exquisit coastline (of course, we are not implying tha the seaside is not heavenly, on the contrary....)
The spring time is the best time to seek out the green parts of Croatia. So, lets start...
Plitvice jezera1. The capital: ZagrebSo, if you are taking the plane you will probably land in Zagreb, the capital. Our recommandation is to stay in the city for a couple of days. If you need the accomodation check out this

2. Nature in the city: Nature Park Medvednica From Zagreb you can easily go to Nature park, mountain
Medvednica. You even do not need the car – you take the tram number 14 – go to the last station, than take tram number 15 – also to the last station – you are bellow Medvednica. From that place go by foot – it will about 2 hours to reach the top called Sljeme.
When you up there take a rest at the local restaurans and climbers lodging houses, and try some home made local cuisine dishes.
3. Heaven on earth: Nacional park Plitvice lakes, RastokeWell, this is really heaven on earth. For all all those of you who wants to see what nature can do at its peeks these are the places for you.
By bus it takes about 2 hours to come to Slunj, the biggest city near Rastoke. Here is the
intercountry bus time table. Rastoke are really close to Slunj. If you want to you can take the
accomodation in Rastoke. Plitvice lakes (Plitvice jezera) are close, it takes about half an hous by bus form Rastoke. Plitvice are nacionl park and protected. Check out

4. Kuterevo and the little bears orhansKutarevo is the small village in the noth part of the mountain Velebit that is known by its little bear orphans reservoir. Otočac (it takes about 20 minutes on foot by road) is the nearest city but if you want to you can take the room in reservoir as well.
5. Istra – Croatian ProvenseIstra is Croatian peninsula at south-west. It is known by the tartufes, good wines and wine routes, olive-oil trails, smalest town in the world – Hum...so if you want to get to know Istra really well, we recomand you take a few days extra, and here are the
